Meaningful design. Obsessively good craftsmanship.

Orford fuses gezellig, the Dutch essence of home, with signature silhouettes and vibrant textures to celebrate the joy of home.

Working alongside a talented creative team, I helped shape Orford’s brand around the Dutch idea of Gezellig — that feeling of warmth, connection, and belonging that makes a house feel like home. By working closely with the Orford team and Sophie, the Founder and Creative Director, I dug into what truly makes the brand different: modern, beautifully crafted furniture designed to bring character, comfort, and joy into everyday spaces.

From there, I developed a cohesive brand system spanning the proposition, logo, illustration and photography style, and tone of voice. I then brought the brand to life across the website UI, look book, and social assets. The result is a warm yet contemporary identity that reflects Orford’s bold forms and rich textures, helping launch the brand confidently into the interior furniture industry.

Role: Creative Director

"JP was instrumental in helping us shape Orford’s brand identity. He facilitated thoughtful and engaging discussions during the concept stages, guiding us toward clarity on what we wanted the brand to represent. JP presented a fantastic range of branding options, each one distinctive, considered, and aligned with our vision. The direction we ultimately chose set the tone for everything that followed, influencing our brand voice, website design, and social media presence. His creative insight and collaborative approach made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable."
